EdGems: Bringing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Work to Life

Educator Barnes returns with another episode of EdGems. EdGems gives viewers the opportunity to learn from educational leaders and educational stakeholders with the goal of improving the educational landscape in Indianapolis and throughout Indiana.

The second episode focuses on diversity, equity and inclusion. These words are more prominent lately due to protests this summer. These protests have made people question institutions outside of the police department, such as our schools.

If schools are not addressing issues of diversity, equity and inclusion, the results can be devastating for students. The school environment will not be a place where students can thrive.

Educator Barnes will hold a discussion with three leaders in Indianapolis who are involved in this work locally and across statewide.
