Each quarter, the Indiana Minority Business Magazine (IMBM) celebrates its most recent magazine issue by honoring local minorities who act as leaders in their career field. This Golden Laurel Professional Reception will honor individuals in the fields of art, fashion and beauty.
IMBM is looking to recognize individuals who are minority professionals, working in the greater Indianapolis area, who have exhibited excellence in the fields of art, fashion or beauty through any of the following categories:
Community involvement ā Nominee spends a considerable amount of time engaging in community-building initiatives and volunteer service.
Professional achievement ā Nominee has exhibited an exemplary level of professional achievement as evidenced by awards and honors from associations within the industry.
International/charitable outreach ā Nominee has traveled out of the country on an endeavor related to art, fashion or beauty and/or has offered services pro bono in the Indianapolis community.
Excellence in care ā Nominee receives positive responses from patrons regarding their level of care.
Technological innovation ā Nominee has utilized cutting-edge technological advancements in their work.
Lifetime achievement ā Nominee has made significant contributions to the fields of art, fashion or beauty through their many years of service. (Nominee can be retired).
n Emerging leader ā Nominee has demonstrated leadership capabilities and exceptional growth early on in their career.
