Mays in Hall of Fame

William G. “Bill” Mays, founder of Mays Chemical Co. and publisher of the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper and Indiana Minority Business Magazine, will be inducted into the inaugural class of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp. (EVSC) Foundation Hall of Fame during a special luncheon on Sunday, Sept. 12. In a statement, the Foundation said Mays, an Evansville native, is a community leader “whose deeds and character exemplify outstanding achievement,” and congratulated Mays on his “extraordinary accomplishments.”
