GENERATION A: YOUNG ACTIVISTS FROM THE PAST
Hoosiers who want to learn more about activism can come to the Desmond Tutu Center at Christian Theological Seminary. On March 13 at 7:30 p.m., Dr. Allan Boesak will trace the lessons learned from generations of activism demonstrated around the globe and discuss how we can best utilize this knowledge today. Emmy Award-winning comedian and acclaimed TV host Jay Leno is the headliner for the 17th annual comedy fundraiser Laughing Matters. This year’s event will feature a block party on Monument Circle and a red-carpet experience with entertainment, food and drinks for purchase. This event will take place at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.
