Our 2nd annual Showcase of Schools is taking place Saturday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Circle Centre Mall.
Holiday shoppers will have a chance to shop around IPS, as every school and program in the district will have a booth staffed with friendly and knowledgeable volunteers ready to share the highlights of their school with you. Between our traditional neighborhood schools, magnet programs and Innovation Network schools, there’s a perfect fit for every family. Each of our schools is equally unique – we’re ready to help you find the best school for your needs!
This is an exciting time for IPS as we celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in the district’s history with many exciting initiatives. IPS Strategic Plan 2015 launched this year, outlining the district’s commitment to growth in the areas of Teaching and Learning, Family and Community and Efficient Operations. Along with the Innovation Network adding more schools to the roster, another group of school leaders will be empowered to make more school-based instructional and budgeting decisions as IPS welcomes its first group of autonomous schools in 2016-17. Another exciting addition to the district is Simon Youth Academy at Circle Center; don’t miss your chance to check out our state-of-the-art facility for juniors and seniors looking for an accelerated pathway to graduation!
Our magnet lottery application window opens on November 21, and you can apply onsite! Our friendly enrollment experts and bilingual assistants will be stationed throughout the Showcase to ensure your family is properly registered and ready for academic success. If you’re thinking about enrolling in IPS at Showcase, don’t forget to bring the following:
Student’s original birth certificate (no photocopies)
Complete immunization records
Proof of residence (a lease or utility bill showing your name and current address)
Picture ID for the parent or guardian
