The 2024 Indy Classic, an annual college basketball doubleheader, takes place Dec. 14 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.

This year’s showcase features four teams: Purdue will face Texas A&M, while Butler will go head-to-head against Wisconsin.

Organized by Indiana Sports Corp in collaboration with Pacers Sports & Entertainment, the Indy Classic became a hallmark event, combining top-tier basketball with community support.

Proceeds from the event benefit Indiana Sports Corp’s nonprofit initiatives, which bolster youth programs and community engagement through sports.

Outside of the Indy Classic, this marks the fifth matchup between Purdue and Texas A&M, with their last meeting dating back to the 2010 NCAA Tournament.

On the other hand, Butler and Wisconsin share a storied history, having faced each other 31 times, with their most recent contest occurring in the 2011 NCAA Sweet Sixteen.
