INDIANAPOLIS— Dave & Buster’s, the nation’s leader in upscale dining and entertainment, announced today it will open its 54th location in Indianapolis this summer. The company plans to hire 200 employees for the new restaurant-gaming complex.
Applications are currently being accepted and interviews are being conducted for a variety of positions that include wait staff, bar tenders, kitchen employees, hosts and game technicians. Sixty percent of the positions will be full time. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. “We’re bringing a totally new concept in dining and entertainment to the Indianapolis area and we are building a team that is fun, enthusiastic and high-energy,” said James Pulley, recently-appointed general manager of Dave & Buster’s Indianapolis. “We offer a three-in-one destination where our guests can eat, drink and play all under one roof. Dave & Buster’s is essentially a playground for adults.”
Dave & Buster’s Indianapolis is currently under construction with plans to open in mid June. It will be located on the northeast side of the city at 8350 Castleton Corner Drive in the Castleton Commons Shopping Center. The impressive 34,000 square-foot facility and is visible and accessible from Interstate 465.
Dave & Buster’s Indianapolis will be able to accommodate 1,200 guests and features more than 100 menu items, a lavish sports bar lounge, dozens of high-definition plasma flat-screen TVs and 200 electronic and interactive games that reward players with tickets redeemable for prizes. The company is known for its acclaimed Million Dollar MidwayTM – a gaming arena that features a skeeball alley, automated horse racing, dance pads, basketball and NASCAR racing simulators among many other exciting games.
In addition to a main dining area, the giant restaurant features a spacious bar area as well as rooms for private parties and corporate events. Dave & Buster’s offers full-menu tableside dining and a generous selection of imported beers, wines and signature drinks.
