The debate on science versus religion has raged throughout time with fundamentalist believers urging for their continued separateness.
However, a study conducted by sociologist Elaine Howard Ecklund of Rice University, revealed that nearly 50 percent of evangelicals believe that science and religion can work together and support one another.
The book 101 Scientific Facts & Foreknowledge by author Jim Tetlow attempts to solidify the connection by providing prophetic biblical examples of scientific phenomena, many of which were discovered years after the penning of said Scriptures. Genesis 2:7; 3:19 – Our bodies are made from the dust of the ground. Scientists have discovered that the human body is comprised of some 28 base and trace elements – all of which are found in the earth.

Job 38:24 – Light can be divided. Sir Isaac Newton studied light and discovered that white light is made of seven colors, which can be “parted” and then recombined.
