The Indianapolis Naptown All Stars are proud to announce that they are continuing play in the American Basketball Association for a second year. After an incredibly successful inaugural year for the 2014-2015 season, the All Stars go into the 2015-2016 season undefeated at home, with only a couple of losses on the road. “We are so thrilled with how well our team played this last season,” says Head Coach and Co-Owner Kevin Jones, adding, “We could not be more proud of our players and staff.”
The ABA is the largest and most diversified professional sports league in the world, with close to 95 teams playing in the 2015-2016 season.
Jones was a Division 1 coach with many ties to Indianapolis. “I can’t think of a better person to lead this team again, and I am so happy to now own the team with Kevin,” says Co-Owner Susan Packard.
The All Stars also now have a new home venue. We are pleased to announce our partnership with Arlington High School. They have a gorgeous new gym, and we cannot wait to begin practicing and playing in their facility. With that being said, the All Stars would like to announce their free agent tryouts, which will take place at Arlington High School on Sept. 26 from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Serious players are encouraged to come try out for the team. The cost is $75.
