Shattered but not broken

Mother-daughter tea party

The Ladies Under Construction Mentoring Program invites the public to attend a mother-daughter tea party on Sept. 10 from 3–6 p.m. at Bella Marcia, 120 E. Market St., Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46204. EKlass of 93.9 The Beat will host the event, which is open to mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, etc. Tickets are $25 per couple and $10 for additional children.

Join JCC Indianapolis for an afternoon of spiritually moving dance on Sept. 17 from 3–4:30 p.m. at 6701 Hoover Road, Indianapolis, IN 46260. Director Tiffany Johnson and members of Sacred Dance will be available for a pre-program “Dialogue of Dance” and Q&A from 2-2:30 pm. Tickets are $10 and are available in advance on Eventbrite.
