Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church recently held their annual Faith Fun and Fellowship Day. Everyone gathered in the back parking lot for prayer before the parade kicked off with a performance by the Big D Drumline.
Pastor Joy Thornton and Damon Donaldson wave to onlookers as the parade headed east on 38th Street in front of the library.
McGruff, the crime dog, rode in the parade.
Pitmaster Charles McCoy prepared plenty of barbecue at the conclusion of the parade.
Children were able to enjoy games, entertainment and a bounce house. Brothers Ty and Tyler Reynolds enjoyed sitting on the inflated throne.
