It seems the whole city is buzzing about the 2014 Women’s Empowerment Series. The series, hosted by Radio One Inc. is poised to be one of the season’s most anticipated events with performances, workshops, and activities for women of all ages and interests. The Recorder chatted with one of the stars of WES 2014, Gospel artist Earnest Pugh. Here’s what he had to say about Women’s Empowerment!
“It’s always an honor to come to town to be a part of this series. It’s always a very life-changing situation where they’re empowered with great speakers, information on health, and then of course we come to bring the musical element and set the atmosphere for the day. The Bible says in all of your getting, get an understanding. I think that knowledge is power and to come together and be empowered, I think that it just further equips these women for the next season of their lives.”
