Grammy winner Karen Clark-Sheard and Kierra “KiKi” Sheard, a Stellar Award winner and judge on BET’s “Sunday Best,” will headline the 24th annual Gospel Explosion on Sept. 25.
The event, put on by Pastor Reginald Barney and Joyful Sounds Productions, will be held at the Pike Performing Arts Center at 6701 Zionsville Road at 7:30 p.m.
The concert will also include performances by Men In The Fire, Bishop Donald Golder, Temple of Praise Recording Choir, Quinn Barley and comedian Nikita.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets are available at The Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper office, the Pike Performing Arts Center box office and online at joyfulsoundproductions.com.
Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go into Joyful Sounds Productions’ scholarship fund.
