Celebrate local authors

Book lovers have the opportunity to meet and greet local authors during An Authors’ Affair, hosted by Cynthia Lynn Stigger, 2-4:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at 1761 N. Sherman Drive, Suite I. 

The event also will feature a panel discussion and book signing. 

Special guest will be Cleo Camphor. Camphor was born with sickle cell disease. As a youngster, Camphor was called by the Holy Spirit to serve God, do outreach and spread the gospel.

Featured authors include:

Leonette Caldwell, a self-published author, released her first novel “In and Out of Love” this year. She launched a publishing company, Leo’s Print, under her company Just Leo Productions and is currently working on a follow-up novel. Caldwell hosts a radio show, “In and Out of Love with Leo” on JQLM Radio. Caldwell is a life coach and public speaker and plans to release a T-shirt line. She’s also mom to her 14-year-old son, Cedric. 

Antwan Floyd Sr. is known for his crime fiction novels, including the “Black Love Detective” series featuring “Piece Keeper” and “Cannibal in the City.” He’s launched Bleeding Pen Publishing in 2009 and has released paperback and eBooks. Floyd is an African-American Literature Book Club Bestselling Author. 

Cynthia Lynn Stigger, a poet, playwright and author, currently has four books published — two books of poetry, “The Words I Could Not Say” and “If the Shoe Fits” and two novels, “Shackles From the Grave” and “Graphic Fantasies.” In addition, Stigger wrote two stage plays and will release her first children’s book in the fall. She is the founder of Bundle of Joy, an online support page for mothers whose children have special needs. She also has performed in venues throughout Indianapolis, on television and radio.

Trease Sears is a wife,  mother, author (“365 days of Thanksgiving,” “The art of becoming One”), playwright, director, choreographer and community leader.  She has a passion for people and a desire to see youth all over the world, flourish and walk in their true purpose. 

She recently opened World Changers School of the Arts (WCSA), a private school providing a safe, creative and non-traditional approach to education.  

Shanea “NEA” is the publisher of Truly Outspoken Publications and is better known for her writings in fiction. The Stairway: Keys to Heaven is her debut into spiritual, non-fiction writing.

She was born and currently resides in Indiana where she works for the federal government. She is also a mentor and spiritual teacher.

 Antwan D. Amey is a minister, hairstylist and author. He currently owns a Salon in the downtown area of Indianapolis, In. He is a Christian author who has published two books called “The Totality of Deliverance!” and “Christ’s Prison Has No Bars!” Amey just released a new book, “Try Christ!” He enjoys ministering the gospel in a variety of ways.
