Forty elite high-school-age female basketball prospects from outside the U.S. will participate in the third annual Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Global Women’s Camp in Indianapolis.

The camp — hosted jointly by the WNBA, NBA and FIBA — runs July 17–19 at the University of Indianapolis’ Nicoson Hall alongside AT&T WNBA All-Star 2025 festivities.

The international athletes — hailing from 33 countries including Croatia, Japan, Senegal and Brazil — will train under current and former WNBA and FIBA figures. Coaches include 2025 No. 6 WNBA draft pick Georgia Amoore (Washington Mystics/Australia), two-time NCAA champion Kelly Faris (USA) and two-time MEAC Player of the Year Andrea Gardner-Williams (USA).

Boston Celtics executive Allison Feaster, a 2004 WNBA All-Star, directs the camp.

Camp activities feature skill development drills, three-point contests, 5-on-5 games and leadership sessions. WNBA scouts and NCAA coaches will attend, building on 2024’s success, where 34 participants earned NCAA Division I scholarships. Campers will also attend the WNBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on July 19.

Indiana Fever forward and three-time all-star Aliyah Boston said that investing in women’s sports is crucial to its advancement.

“Being able to invest in women’s sports is so important because as a professional woman athlete, it is crucial that we have everything that we need,” Boston said on July 15.

Nike, a BWB partner since 2002, will provide all apparel and footwear. The BWB program — a global development initiative—has involved over 4,600 athletes from 144 countries since 2001. Of those, 142 secured NBA/WNBA contracts, including 15 WNBA players like Ezi Magbegor (Seattle Storm/New Zealand) and Kamilla Cardoso (Chicago Sky/Brazil). The NBA and FIBA have organized 80 BWB camps across six continents.

Other notable participants include:

– Hyeonjeong Hwang (South Korea)

– Melissa Guillet (France)

– Binta Seye (Senegal)

– Nicole Ogun (United Kingdom)

– Mika Sakaguchi (Japan)
