Acclaimed comedian and viral sensation Ali Siddiq is officially making a stop in the Circle City this fall as part of his national “The Custom Fit Tour.”
The tour will head to Butler University on Oct. 24, taking over Clowes Memorial Hall, with showtime at 8 p.m.
Hailing from Houston, Texas, Siddiq developed his signature comedic style and distinct voice behind the walls of incarceration, treating intricate storytelling as a tool for survival and community connection. His raw, masterful perspective caught the attention of Comedy Central, which previously sent him back inside a Texas jail to film the critically acclaimed special It’s Bigger Than These Bars. Celebrated by Vulture as “stand-up comedy’s most prolific storyteller,” Siddiq has cultivated a massive global fanbase through a string of highly successful, independently produced comedy specials.
Local fans planning to attend the October event should prepare for a unique, distraction-free environment. Venues are implementing a strict phone-free policy for “The Custom Fit Tour,” requiring all mobile devices, smart watches, and recording accessories to be locked inside Yondr security pouches upon entry. Artist presale ticket platforms opened on Wednesday, June 24, while general public box office availability officially launched on June 26.
Interested patrons can purchase reserved seating directly through the primary ticketing network at Ticketmaster or review venue maps by visiting the university event portal at butlerartscenter.org.
