The UniverSoul Circus is returning to Indianapolis this fall, bringing its newly launched “We All Belong” production to the big top at Lafayette Square Mall.
The interactive, culture-blending showcase is scheduled to run from Sept. 17 through Sept. 27. General admission tickets for the multi-week residency go on sale to the public on Aug. 28, via Ticketmaster.
The production combines high-energy circus stunts, interactive audience entertainment and global cultural influences, drawing heavily from the Harlem Renaissance, Motown, Soul Train, and hip-hop.
“The goal is simple. In a world where people often focus on differences, WE ALL BELONG reminds us that music, movement, laughter, culture and human connection blur the lines between us and explore the point where cultures meet and ultimately unite through joy, rhythm and shared experience,” Founder and CEO of UniverSoul Circus Cedric Walker said.
Created in Atlanta in 1994, the touring production built a three-decade legacy of redefining family entertainment. The 2026 lineup features a diverse array of international talent, including a high-altitude Ethiopian vertical-pole routine; a Mongolian-Ethiopian aerial lyra duo known as the Morning Doves and the Soul Skaters, and a stylized roller-skating troupe combining choreography and acrobatics.
Additional attractions feature a strong-man hand-balance duo from the Dominican Republic, the high-flying Zhukau Swing acrobatic act from Russia, and the Caribbean Street Carnival with 20-foot dancing puppets and fire-breathing stilt dancers. The show also incorporates daring motorcycle stunt artists performing flips and dives 60 feet above the arena floor.
Beyond the performances under the iconic purple-and-yellow tent, the organization will host pop-up performances across the region through its “The City Is the Stage” community initiative.
The circus will hold performances at 3919 Lafayette Road at 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, with multiple showtimes scheduled at noon, 3:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and noon, 3 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. on Sundays.
