Although its origins date back to 1765, Hennessy is not an antiquated beverage. This cognac is hailed as one of the best in the world and many are rediscovering the multifaceted drink.
Jordan Bushell, Hennessy’s mixologist knows that true Hennessy aficionados stick to what’s comfortable. Not wanting to rest on their laurels, Hennessy put Bushell to the test of creating some eye-opening drinks that appeal to a wide range of palates.
“People have this idea that it’s cognac neat or cognac on ice, but really it’s whatever way you like it,” said Bushell.
During Super Bowl weekend, Hennessy sponsored several events that allowed guests to enjoy good music, mingle with celebrities and experience firsthand the versatility of Hennessy.
When creating refreshments using Hennessy V.S., Bushell drew inspiration from the New York Giants, the New England Patriots and even Indiana to create four mixed drinks that anyone making drinks for friends could recreate.
“When you come to an event like the Super Bowl, you should show off something in a way that people have never thought about before but that’s simple and approachable,” said Bushell.
Here are some drinks that are sure to become the new normal among alcohol drinkers. One thing you’ll definitely need is a metric measuring device for liquids.
