The entertainment of 2012 either kept getting juicy or more irritating by the second. I certainly had enough of it. Do we really care whether or not Rihanna is dating Chris Brown? Are you still keeping tabs on what Beyonce and Jay Z’s baby really looks like? Or maybe I’m the only one that doesn’t care.
What I do care about though are movies “The Hunger Games,” “Taken 2” and “Flight” were certainly showstoppers. Oh, and how can I forget about “Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part 2” – awesome. I am still bummed I haven’t seen “The Hobbit” yet though. Who knows by the time this article is published maybe I will?
Despite all the trashy, insane coverage that took place in 2012 we have some great memorable moments. Including Indy’s own Butler men’s basketball team defeating IU, who were ranked No. 1 nationally at the start of the season. Or how about when the community joined together to help the victims of the Southside explosions? In the midst of chaos, there is always good.
Check out the good and bad of 2012, from yours truly aka your friends at the Indianapolis Recorder.
