Shazam
Have you ever been somewhere and heard a song but you weren’t sure of the title or artist? Shazam allows you to record a snippet of the song while the program configures the music and identifies the title of the song and artist.

Learn on the go thanks to the Khan Academy, a free application where users can learn math, science, finance, humanities and other topics, including foreign languages.

911 HelpSMS
If you ever find yourself in a severe situation and need assistance, the 911 HelpSMS application will allow you to call 911 and send text messages to those on your contact list simultaneously. The application also features a GPS using Google Maps to ensure enforcement can locate you.
App Lock
Are friends or family members snooping through your cell phone? App Lock allows you to apply a separate passcode to specific features on your phone in addition to the master passcode needed to access the entire phone. You are now able to lock your email, messages and other features.
Venmo
Ever been out to dinner with a friend who said “I’ll pay you back later” after you’ve picked up the tab? Venmo allows users to make instant payments to other users using a Venmo account, bank account or debit card. Personal and financial data is encrypted and protected on servers to guard against any unauthorized transactions.
