While May brings the warm weather, barbecues, the Indy 500 and Memorial Day, there’s another reason to celebrate the season: farmers markets!
Yes, this month signals the return of outdoor farmers markets where shoppers can grab fresh veggies and produce and an assortment of meats, cheese, plants, wine, popcorn and delicious baked goods — all from Indiana vendors. Farmers markets offer the perfect opportunity to sample new foods and chat with the people responsible for growing or producing the goodies you find.
