OneAmerica honors employees

More by this author

OneAmerica honored two employees, Charles Ibrahim and Mary Peete, at the company’s fifth annual ASPIRE awards banquet for their performance in their respective roles. The ASPIRE principles — achievement, stewardship, partnership, integrity, responsiveness and excellence — are supposed to guide employees.

Peete, of Indianapolis, is a customer service representative in OneAmerica’s employee benefits business and was honored for Excellence in Partnership. Those who nominated Peete did so because of her positive attitude, customer-focused approach and feedback from clients. Peete has been with OneAmerica for 36 years.

Ibrahim, of Carmel, is director of process excellence and was honored for Outstanding Team Impact because of his partnership skills, compassion and helping grow the company’s employee benefits business. Ibrahim has been with the company for eight years.

“Charles and Mary, like all our ASPIRE honorees, lead everyone in our organization by their examples,” said Scott Davison, chairman, president and CEO of OneAmerica, in a press release. “We’re excited to recognize excellence in our associates as part of our commitment to our most important assets—the ones who go home at the end of each work day.”
