The Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) will celebrate many exciting holiday events, including Christmas at Lilly House through Jan 6. The event invites guests into the former home of the J.K. Lilly Jr. family. The home is decked out with ribbons, wreaths, garlands and other fine holiday decorations reminiscent of the 1930s and ‘40s.
IMA visitors can marvel at the longest night of the year at the Winter Solstice gathering Dec. 20 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Be sure to dress warmly as the chilly night includes ice carving, holiday drinks, art making, bonfires and stargazing for all to enjoy.
