TidalWave Comics releases “Female Force: Angel Reese,” a new biography comic spotlighting the rising WNBA star’s journey, as part of its ongoing series profiling influential cultural figures.Ā

The 22-page comic, available now in digital and print formats including softcover and hardcover, chronicles Reese’s path from learning basketball in a family environment to achieving NCAA dominance and making her mark professionally.

Writer Michael Frizell and artist Ramon Salas depict her athletic prowess and signature on-court tenacity and explore her motivations, personal sacrifices, and the controversies that have shaped her career.

“Angel Reese has captivated the sports world with her undeniable talent and confidence,” TidalWave publisher Darren Davis said. “Her influence goes beyond basketball — she’s part of a cultural conversation about self-expression, determination and power. This comic is a celebration of all that.”

Salas’ graphics aim to capture Reese’s defiant spirit and dynamic playing style.

Frizell described the project as an opportunity to tell “a story of grit, growth and grace,” noting Reese as “a powerful example of what it means to own your story, your image and your destiny.”

The “Female Force” series, previously featured in publications like Rolling Stone, Time, and People, has profiled icons including Taylor Swift, BeyoncĆ©, Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez. “FAME: Female Force” turns its focus to Reese as an athlete redefining sports stardom.

The comic is available on platforms such as Amazon’s Kindle, iTunes, ComiXology, Global Comics, Google Play, Overdrive, Nook and Kobo.
