Colts dedicate funds to flood relief in Louisiana

More by this author

On Aug. 19, the Indianapolis Colts announced that a portion of the proceeds from a preseason gameday raffle will benefit the American Red Cross to support those impacted by disasters like the floods in Louisiana and countless other crises.

The 50/50 Raffle was started by the Indianapolis Colts Foundation in 2014. At each Colts home game, fifty percent of the net proceeds from each game’s ticket sales go to one lucky fan and the remainder supports various charitable efforts by the Colts Foundation.

Fans that attended last Saturday’s game against the Ravens purchased 50/50 Raffle tickets before kickoff in American Family Insurance Touchdown Town, the Blue Crew and South parking lots, as well as during the game at six kiosks throughout the stadium and from multiple mobile sellers. Then, during the fourth quarter, the Colts randomly selected one winner and announced the winning number and amount.

Fans not attending these games can support the Red Cross’ relief efforts in Louisiana by texting REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
