Chase Bank will host a back-to-school event on July 11.
The giveaway aims to help Indianapolis families prepare for the upcoming school year.
The event includes free backpacks and school supply giveaways. Chase will also offer financial health workshops. These workshops target students and their families.
The back-to-school event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chase branch at 3501 Lafayette Road.The philanthropic affair is part of the bank’s national Back-to-School Initiative, which supports upwards of 60,000 students and families across the country.
Chase emphasizes that back-to-school time is a significant financial moment.
The workshops, hosted by Chase Indianapolis community manager Carletta Clark, will teach basic money skills. Chase believes this helps introduce good financial habits early.
The bank anticipates distributing hundreds of backpacks filled with supplies.
