Hoosiers Helping Houston: Citywide endeavor supports hurricane relief efforts

Last Friday, Indianapolis first lady Steph Hogsett joined community leaders from the Indiana Red Cross, FedEx, Kroger and United Media of Indianapolis to kick off Hoosiers Helping Houston, a citywide endeavor to support relief efforts along the Gulf Coast.Ā 

From Thursday, Sept. 7, to Saturday, Sept. 9, drop-off locations around Marion County will be accepting bottled water, packaged snacks, juice in non-glass containers, baby wipes and diapers to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. First lady Steph Hogsett will join Mayor Joe Hogsett in encouraging residents as well as City-County employees to get involved and do their part.

Kroger — 9799 E. 116th St., Fishers, IN 46037

Kroger — 5718 Crawfordsville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224

Radio-One — 21 E. St. Joseph St., Indianapolis, IN 46204

Donation times:

Thursday, Sept. 7, through Saturday, Sept. 9, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
