Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry will hold a press conference today at 3 p.m. to announce an update in the matter involving the death of Aaron Bailey.
Bailey, 45, was fatally shot by Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers after a brief vehicle pursuit and crash on June 29.
Since Bailey’s death, many community organizations have been calling for more transparency about the investigation and demanding the appointment of a special prosecutor to handle the case.
