NDIANAPOLIS—July 8, 2025—Kickstart the school year with free health services to ensure children are ready to head back to the classroom. Join The Villages of Indiana and CareSource for Wellness Day, a free event offering hearing, vision, well-child checks, physicals, immunizations and dental exams, on Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ameriplex Complex, Children’s Village Childcare Center at 5555 Galeao Ct. in Indianapolis.
“As children prepare to return to school, giving them a healthy head start makes a big difference in their lives and sets them up for success,” said Shannon Schumacher, president and CEO of The Villages of Indiana. “Having free and easy access to a wide range of health services ensures that children are getting the medical attention they need to thrive.”
Dr. Beena Joseph, chief medical officer at CareSource Indiana, says, “We’re thrilled to support kids in starting the school year strong. Wellness Day breaks down cost and access barriers, making it easier for families to take care of essential health needs before school begins. It’s simple—healthy kids are better prepared to learn, and we’re proud to be part of that.”
