Residents of the city’s west side are invited to offer suggestions for a new branch of The Indianapolis Public Library to replace and relocate the current Eagle Branch during a series of community forums beginning Monday, March 6, from 6–7:30 p.m. at Enlace Academy (former site of IPS School #108), 3725 N. Kiel Ave.)
Architects from Browning Day Muller Dierdorf Architects, library planners from Kimberly Bolen and Associates and representatives from the Library will provide an overview of the planned project and receive citizen input on what features and services should be included.
The new 20,000-square-foot library will replace the current Eagle Branch at 3325 Lowry Road and relocate to a 3.66-acre site at 3939 N. Moller Road.
The series of community forums will continue on Wednesday, March 8, from 4–5:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 14, from 6–7:30 p.m., also to be held at Enlace Academy.
