The Liberty has a new blemish courtesy of the Fever.
The Indiana Fever snapped the New York Liberty’s nine-game winning streak with a 102-88 victory on June 14 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.
Clark, playing her first game after missing five contests with a quad injury, scored 34 points and dished out nine assists, fueling the Fever’s offense.
The Indiana point guard added seven three-pointers to the stat sheet and amassing a career-high 25 points in the first half.
Aliyah Boston dominated the paint with 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell added 22 points.
It is the first time the Fever have scored 100 or more this season.
Despite 34 points from Sabrina Ionescu and 24 from Breanna Stewart, the Liberty struggled to find consistent offense late.
