George Washington High School in Indianapolis celebrated the renaming of its gymnasium to honor the late George McGinnis, a distinguished alumnus and Indiana basketball legend on Feb 20. The ceremony drew a crowd of over 1,000 people, including former teammates, classmates, family members and community supporters, all gathered to pay tribute to McGinnis’s enduring legacy.
