Following a busy offseason, the Indiana Fever returned to Salesforce Court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on April 27, officially beginning training camp and the WNBA preseason.
The core of Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark, Damiris Dantas, Lexie Hull and Kelsey Mitchell return to Indy while bringing in a slew of new talent.
Despite the revamped roster and front office, Boston said the expectations are the same.

“I don’t think the expectations have changed for the Fever,” Boston said. “I think it is about winning; being able to be atop of the league and come home with that ring … that hasn’t changed. Everyone knows what the expectation is.”
The Fever bolstered their roster with the additions of DeWanna Bonner, Jaelyn Brown, Sydney Colson, Sophie Cunningham, Natasha Howard and Brianna Turner.
Stephanie White, who led the Fever to a WNBA Championship in 2015, returns to the franchise as head coach following a stint with the Connecticut Sun.
Bonner, who played for White last season in Connecticut, said her new teammates were anxious about their first practice under White.
“I got a lot of text messages from them the night before,” Bonner said. “I gave them a rundown of training camp.”

Bonner joked with her teammates that they should expect to run all day under their new coach.
Rookies Yvonne Ejim, Bree Hall and Makayla Timpson were also in the fray to begin the WNBA preseason.
Hall played with Boston at the University of South Carolina under head coach Dawn Staley.
Boston said she is happy to be reunited with Hall.
“I feel like I am in my junior year, and she is coming in as a freshman,” Boston said. “I think it is great to be able to watch her learn and take that next step in the WNBA.”
Center Jillian Alleyne is also signed for the duration of the training camp.
The Fever open the preseason against the Washington Mystics on May 3 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The regular season begins May 17 against the Chicago Sky in downtown Indianapolis.
