Join these community conversations about Black wealth in Indy

More by this author

Sharing the story of your family’s wealth could help influence future city policy.

In partnership with local consultant Joi Harmon, the city of Indianapolis is holding a series of community conversations this December to learn about Black residents’ experiences with wealth across generations.

The conversations are part of a broader effort from the city to learn about what policies have helped or hurt Black communities’ abilities to build wealth. Harmon, who runs consulting firm The Success Plug, is facilitating community feedback for the project.

If you want to give input but can’t attend, you can fill out the survey about Black wealth in Indy online here. You can either fill out the survey in writing or submit a brief audio or video recording. Responses will be kept anonymous unless you give the organization permission to share your comments.
