Savannah Bananas owner Jesse Cole took to Facebook to share his excitement about bringing the group to Indianapolis.
“I hope we can continue to keep it pure and the way we and all of us with the Bananas intended … a place we can all come together and have fun,” Cole said.
Despite their quirky approach, the Bananas found success on the field. They have multiple league championships and have been named the Coastal Plain League Organization of the Year numerous times.
As the Savannah Bananas take the field for their two-day show, Indianapolis fans are sure to be in for a treat. The Bananas’ unique brand of baseball and dedication to fan engagement will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on Hoosiers.
