The members of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, celebrating its 109th Anniversary, welcomed their new pastor recently after a week of various services leading up to the installation of Rev. R. E. Robinson. Rev. Dr. Phillip L. Shobe retired after 33 years as pastor. Rev. Dr. Stephen J. Clay, Pastor of Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, delivered the Preached Word.Ā
