The Indy Kwanzaa Committee invites the community out to celebrate Umoja, the first day of Kwanzaa, with vendors, performers and a kids corner. This all-ages event if free and open to the public.

Kwanzaa Community Celebration: Roots and Rhythm
11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Indiana State Museum
650 W. Washington St.
Come out and enjoy African drumming, storytelling, arts and crafts, dance performances and family-friendly activities. You can also shop with small businesses at the vendor market. This event is hosted in partnership with Witherspoon Presbyterian Church.
