Congressman André Carson’s Youth Opportunities Fair will be held from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on March 12, at the Ivy Tech Community College Culinary and Conference Center.
The event is free to attend, and pre-registration is not required.
The purpose of this event is to connect Hoosiers to various summer programs in addition to year-round and summer employment, internship, and volunteer opportunities for youth of all ages.
Participants under the age of 14 can also connect with local service providers offering summer and year-round programs, as well as volunteer opportunities designed for youth.
At the fair, attendees can talk with various organizations and register to learn about future events. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and dress professionally for the event.
