INDIANAPOLIS (July 15, 2009)- McDonald’s® continues to celebrate the 30th birthday of the Happy Meal® by buying local families groceries throughout Central Indiana.
McDonald’s Thirty Days of Happiness are random acts of kindness throughout the month of July in honor of one of its signature menu items. Families shopping at selected grocery stores will be chosen at random to receive free groceries courtesy of McDonald’s. Cards with the slogan “Because it makes you Happy” will be given to each selected family.
McDonald’s Thirty Days of Happiness began July 1 with free McDonald’s meals for some of their customers. Random acts of kindness are being currently presented throughout Indianapolis and will continue until the end of the month. Another large act of kindness will be facilitated throughout Central Indiana on Monday July 27. Concluding the thirty days of happiness series of events will be a birthday party for 200 Central Indiana youth at the Indianapolis Zoo on Friday, July 31.
