Admission is only $5, free for members of the NAACP.
The purpose of this evening is to increase membership and to inform young adults in the area about upcoming events and the positive influence NAACP is having in the community. This event will be held at 300 East Restaurant and Lounge in a very classy setting. DJ Monte Carlo will be providing music by way of turn tables at 7pm. Hors D’oeuvres will be served at 7:30pm. At 8pm NAACP will be extending offers for membership and involvement and by 9pm we will indulge in the rhythm and sound of Bashiri Asad’s smooth and sensual voice. Also, performing will be comedian Milton Maxwell and neosoul group Ashira. There will also be painters with their work displayed in the venue and anyone who is interested can purchase pieces directly from the artist.
