The Fashion Mall at Keystone is known for its high-end retailers and new-to-market dining concepts – but we didn’t forget our littlest shoppers! This fall, the Fashion Mall will welcome several kid-friendly additions, including Baby Boot Camp classes and a Retro Toys Play Spot in the Fashion Café.
Indianapolis moms and dads are invited to transform their strollers into portable fitness machines when the Fashion Mall welcomes Baby Boot Camp StrollFit classes beginning tomorrow, October 9. Baby Boot Camp combines strength-training and cardiovascular drills, giving parents the unique opportunity to bond with their baby and other families in a fun, supportive environment.
“Baby Boot Camp is such a wonderful opportunity for moms to socialize, regain their pre-pregnancy fitness and form playgroups with other families,” said StrollFit instructor Kara Babcock.
Parents of all fitness levels are encouraged to check out the interactive classes every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Nordstrom court. Anyone can enjoy a complimentary first StrollFit class, and additional package information is available at www.babybootcamp.com.
Another exciting addition to the Fashion Mall is the Retro Toys Play Spot, which features Lego tables, fashion-themed coloring books and several over-sized versions of retro-themed games. Area children will have the opportunity to explore classic games their parents enjoyed as kids, such as Twister, Connect Four, Lite-Brite and Matell’s Simon game.
“We are excited to unveil the Retro Toys Play Spot where children can express their creativity, while parents take a much needed rest and watch their kids have fun,” said Patricia Bardin, director of marketing and business development at the Fashion Mall. “Kids can play with Simon and reconnect with games their parents enjoyed as kids.
And for a limited time, popular children’s retailer Toys ‘R’ Us has also opened a location near Pottery Barn just in time for the holiday season.
