Press Release
Indianapolis, Ind. – Easter Seals Crossroads is pleased to announce that Dallas Clark, Indianapolis Colts Tight End, and Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis Colts Center, will be the featured speakers at the disability services agency’s 48th Annual Business Lunch.
This always popular fundraiser will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, at The Westin Indianapolis. Individual tickets are $75 and corporate sponsorships for the Annual Business Lunch are still available. Major sponsors for this year’s event include Sharp, WISH-TV and The Westin Indianapolis.
Dallas Clark’s college career began as a walk-on linebacker at the University of Iowa in 1999. In 2001, he made the switch to tight end and his career took off — leading to his first round selection in the 2003 NFL by the Indianapolis Colts. Clark started 13 games as a rookie and was an integral member of the 2006 Super Bowl Champion Team. Colts’ fans were thrilled when Clark renewed his contract in 2008.
Earning Pro Bowl honors for the third consecutive season, Jeff Saturday has started an impressive 128 of his 132 career appearances. In 2007, he was named to the First-Team Associated Press All-Pro Team and to the Sports Illustrated NFL All-Pro Team. A native of Atlanta, GA, Saturday and his family are quite active in assisting local charities and their outreach efforts to the community.
Annual Business Lunch emcee Anthony “A.C.” Calhoun, Sports Anchor for WISH-TV, will conduct a candid — and guaranteed to be lively — interview with Clark and Saturday. Anyone who knows these players is aware that they are widely respected for their positive dispositions and sense of humor. As in past years, the luncheon also will highlight Easter Seals Crossroads employment services for people with disabilities, and will feature the Easter Seals Crossroads Chalice Award winner as well as the 2009 Child Representative.
