The best salad in town

More by this author

When Eddie Met Salad, sounds like a movie title right? However, it’s a restaurant that serves the most creative salads I’ve come across.

Their salad categories are the signature, specialty and green garden salads. I love chicken cordon bleu so the Chicken Cordon Bleu salad sounded like a special treat to me. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, grilled chicken, ham, diced tomatoes, croutons, mozzarella cheese and honey mustard dressing.

How did it taste you ask? Absolutely splendid! You will not want to resort to the traditional salad of just lettuce and dressing after experiencing When Eddie Met Salad. The chicken and ham wonderfully complimented one another. The mozzarella cheese added that extra zest to the salad as well. I was hesitant about trying the honey mustard with the salad, but it brought out the flavor even more. It was a delicious combination.

There are a plethora of salads to choose from such as the Cranberry Spinach Salad, a romaine lettuce and spinach, feta cheese, dried cranberries, sliced almonds, sesame seeds and their house vinaigrette. Or try When Eddie Met Salad’s Philly Cheesesteak Salad, iceberg lettuce, Italian seasoned roast beef, grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms, croutons, mozzarella cheese and Italian dressing.

Adventurous eaters should try their Salmon Green Garden Salad, a house mix, grilled salmon, cucumber, dill pickle, diced tomato, green onions, feta cheese and fat free lemon vinaigrette.

When Eddie Met Salad also serves wraps such the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap or the Teriyaki Chicken Wrap. You can also bring out your inner chef and create your own salad…with all the options they have I’m sure the results would be tremendous.

If you’re looking for a new and healthy meal then stop by When Salad Met Salad and experience the best salad in town.
