Mayor Greg Ballard to Join Indiana Pacers Player Earl Watson in Presentation of League Jerseys
INDIANAPOLIS – (Jan. 29, 2010) Mayor Greg Ballard and representatives from the Indiana Pacers organization will celebrate the Indy Parks Citywide Youth Basketball program with a special event. Indiana Pacers player Earl Watson will present the 190 youth basketball program participants with league jerseys featuring Fever and Pacers logos.

About the Indy Parks Citywide Youth Basketball Program
Indy Parks’ Citywide Youth Basketball Program is a league consisting of teams in three age groups representing the family centers at Douglass, Brookside, Riverside, Windsor Village, Rhodius, Krannert, Watkins, Municipal Gardens, Washington and Bethel parks. Seven teams compete in the 10-12 age group; six teams compete in the 13-15 age group; and five teams compete in the 16-18 age group. The program is offered at no cost to participants.
