Workshop to help low-income residents with wills

More by this author

The Indianapolis Bar Association is hosting two free clinics to help lower-income Indianapolis residents prepare their wills and advanced directives. The workshops will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at John H. Boner Neighborhood Centers (2236 E. 10th St.) and Martin Luther King Community Center (40 W. 40th St.)

Attendees will complete an application to ensure they qualify for the program (based on income, home equity and liquid assets); meet with an attorney, who will prepare the documents at no cost; and have their documents signed and witnessed. No appointment is necessary.

Additional information on the 2017 Free Wills Clinics can be found at indybar.org/freewillsclinic.
