View the works of prominent African-American artists during the 22nd annual “Meet the Artists” exhibit on display through Feb. 28 at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St.
In what has become one of the city’s most celebrated art traditions, this year’s event will feature the works of seven locally-renowned artists, a guest artist and two youth artists. Featured artists include Bruce E. Armstrong, Glenn Walker, Lobyn Hamilton, Patricia Gaines-Mills, Ivery Wilson-Teague, D. DelReverda-Jennings, and the late Brandon Tyrell Knott. Guest artist Mychael Shane from Detroit will present scratch board art. Featured youth artists will be St. Louis college student Kiarra Lynn Smith and Dior Allen from Indianapolis.
