The night of Nov.1, Chris Rock and Prince fans will be in for a treat. NBC recently announced Rock will be hosting the Nov.1 episode of “Saturday Night Live” and music legend, Prince will appear as the musical guest.

In the early 90s’ Rock was a cast member of SNL and hasn’t appeared on the show in 18 years. Prince’s appearance is also a big deal considering he rarely tours and often performs at small local venues. Viewers are interested to see Prince perform songs from his two newest albums that skyrocketed on the Billboard R&B and Rock charts.

SNL recently tweeted:

.@ChrisRock returns to Studio 8H after 18 years, and Prince will make his third appearance as musical guest on Nov. 1. #SNL40 #SNL
