The 100 Black Men of Indianapolis, Inc. (The 100) will hold their third annual Emerging Leaders Awards Reception on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at The JW Marriott in Downtown Indianapolis.
This after-work event will honor some of Indy’s emerging community and civic leaders. Registration and a networking reception for the event will begin at 5:30 pm with the program starting at 6:15.
The 100’s Emerging Leaders Awards recognizes minority business, professional, & civic leaders between the ages of 25 and 40 who have achieved success and excelled in their respective fields. These individuals have also demonstrated leadership, initiative and shown a dedication in improving their community through community service, civic engagement, and mentoring.
The 2015 Emerging Leaders Award honorees are Taura Edwards, Ashley Gurvitz, Tronoy Harris, Robert Love, NaShara Mitchell, Adrianne Slash, Dr. Kimberly Sterling, Shannon Williams, and Dr. Nichole Wilson.

Proceeds from the Emerging Leaders Reception will support the youth development programs sponsored by the 100 Black Men of Indianapolis. The 100’s programs impact over 800 Indianapolis youth annually and awards approximately $150,000 annually in scholarships to students.
