INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Department of Health, in partnership with the Family and Social Services Administration and the Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs, will provide free transportation for senior citizens to the 2009 INShape Indiana Black & Minority Health Fair on Thursday, July 16, at the Indiana Convention Center.
Chartered buses will be provided by The Free Enterprise System, Inc. and will make stops at multiple locations throughout the metropolitan Indianapolis area. Seating is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis. Bus routes are as follows:
1.Eastern Star Church (5750 E. 30th Street)
Walnut Ridge (3347 N. Emerson Ave.)
Jackson Peoples Senior Living Center (3901 N. Lesley Ave.)
Hopeside Senior Living Center (1701 E. 25th Street)
2. New Life Worship Center (3425 Boulevard Place)
Mt. Zion Senior Living Center (3655 Boulevard Place)
3. St. Monica’s (6131 N. Michigan Road)
Springfield Health Care (6130 N. Michigan Road)
Bishop T. Garrott Benjamin Senior Resident Center (4720 Michigan Road)

Pick-up times for each route are at 3 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 5:15 p.m. Departure times from the Indiana Convention Center are 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.
The opening ceremony will begin at 4 p.m., and the Health Fair will open to the public at 5 p.m.
