Holiday Open House
Everyone in the community is invited to attend a special Holiday Open House to benefit the Indiana State Federation of Colored Women Clubs on Saturday, Nov. 24 from 1 to 5 p.m. at 2034 N. Capital Avenue. Participants will be able to hear from special guest speakers and purchase gifts from Black manufacturers including cards, Christmas and Kwanzaa items, ornaments, journals, wall calendars, children’s books, sorority items and more. Guest speakers will include Dr. Ebony Utely, author of “Rap and Religion”; Yolanda Moore, author of You Will Win If You Don’t Quit” and Rita Wise, author of “Wise Poetry Celebrating Life” and “A Window of the Soul”.
